Microsoft has released details on how they plan to run their app store that is coming with Windows 8.

Rather than a $0.99 cost minimum like in other app stores, the price is a little higher, set at $1.49. Microsoft also plans to implement a 7 day free trial for apps, something that developers have the choice of allowing or not. The company will also take a 30% cut from your sales, but once you reach a total of $25,000 earnt they will back down and lower their cut to just 20%. Not bad!
