Apple has always launched new iPhones in the Summer. The original iPhone, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4 launched in June while the iPhone 3GS launched in July. There is the one exception though, the iPhone 4S, which was released last October. According to Japanese publication website Macotakara, they received word from a so called “reliable source” that from now on Apple will be launching their new iPhones every Fall as opposed to the Summer. This means Apple’s 6th generation iPhone, most likely the iPhone 5, will be announced during their annual early September event and then become on sale in or around October like last year. Do you think this rumour is true, or do you think last year was just a fluke?
